While we can tailor individual accommodation bookings we suggest the following tours so you can take advantage of optimum snow conditions and Kashmir Powdercats’ guiding services.

We are currently taking bookings for winter 2005-2006. For details of our ‘all-inclusive’ tour prices and to secure your lodgings at Gulmarg's Hotel Hilltop and/or Hotel Pine Palace next winter, please contact us.

Guests making confirmed bookings will receive additional itinerary information, plus a detailed tip sheet (compiled from our own experiences in Kashmir) to ensure a hassle free trip.

Tour Itinerary - Two Weeks in Kashmir

Day 1 Friday - International flights
Daytime flight departures from most international departure points.
Early evening or late night arrival at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport and transfer by taxi to Hotel Rani Castle.
Day 2 Saturday - Arrival in Gulmarg
Transfer to Domestic Airport and late morning flight (one hour 20 minutes) to Srinagar.
Met on arrival at Srinagar Airport and transfer to Hotel Hilltop or Pine Palace at Gulmarg (56 kilometres).
Days 3 to 14 - Snowriding the Himalayas
Day 9 - Transfers between lodgings at Hotel Hilltop and nearby Hotel Pine Palace. Given the limited evening entertainment on offer in Gulmarg, we suggest that guests add mix to their holiday by experiencing six nights at each of our recommended hotels. Your luggage will be transported between hotels for you.
Day 14 Thursday - Evening confirmation of guests' preferred departure time on Day 15.
Day 15 Friday - Flexible Departure from Gulmarg
Departure for lodgings at Butts' Clermont Houseboats on Dal Lake or Hotel Grand Mumtaz in central Srinagar.
Early morning departures for guests who would like to maximise their time in Srinagar.
Early afternoon departures for guests who would like to snowride one more day in Gulmarg.
Day 16 Saturday
Guests at Hotel Grand Mumtaz - midday transfer to Srinagar Airport for afternoon flight to Delhi, and connecting overnight flights home.
Guests at Butts' Clermont Houseboats - full leisure day at Dal Lake and/or Srinagar.
Day 17 Sunday
Guests at Butts' Clermont Houseboats - midday transfer to Srinagar Airport for afternoon flight to Delhi, and connecting overnight flights home.
