What's the food like in Gulmarg?

Apart from cafeterias located at the base and mid station of the gondola and at the Golf Club, Gulmarg's food services are based almost exclusively at the hotels.

There are no options for food shopping in Gulmarg apart from a couple of extremely basic shops located approximately one mile from the gondola.

In February 2005 (and also during our prior visit in February 2004) Gulmarg's best dining experiences were the restaurants of Hotel Pine Palace and Hotel Hilltop, which both offer International as well as Kashmiri cuisine.
