Gulmarg - Hotel Pine Palace

Pine Palace is the only hotel from where you can ski or board from your door to Gulmarg's gondola. Pine Palace sits in a peaceful and private location, overlooking the gondola base station and the surrounding forests. A number of guest rooms have views to Mt Apharwat and the upper half of the gondola.

Pine Palace's main lounge and dining rooms - plus all bathrooms - were renovated prior to the 2004-05 winter. All guest rooms are being newly refurbished and upgraded for Gulmarg's 2005 summer season. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and friendly.

- 16 double/twin bedrooms with western style ensuite (shower and toilet, some with bath)
- dining room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (Kashmiri and international cuisine)
- lounge and bar facilities for evening relaxation, including DVD player
- guest room heating by traditional bakari (similar to western pot-bellied stove)
- pre-breakfast chai-tea service in your room, plus early morning and evening lighting of your bakari
- road access to within 25 metres of hotel door
- ski-in ski-out access to gondola slopes
- professional "Massage Man" service available (by arrangement Ski Himalaya)
