Most guests visiting Gulmarg from overseas
will need to stay overnight in Delhi on arrival in India.
On their homeward journey, we recommend guests also
spend at least one night in Srinagar, to avoid any risk
of delay in travelling from Gulmarg during bad weather.
From our regular visits to India since
1999, we have gained an intimate knowledge of accommodation
options at Gulmarg and its gateway cities Srinagar and
Delhi. A major purpose of these visits was to identify
value-for-money lodgings which would provide suitable
winter accommodation for snowriding guests from overseas.
 Our
focus has always been establishments which satisfy three
fundamental requirements: warm rooms, hot showers, good
food.
