Are there shopping opportunities in Gulmarg?

Shopping opportunities do exist at Gulmarg but they are very limited. We recommend that guests defer any purchases of Kashmiri memorabilia (including rugs, pashmina shawls, jewellery, paper-mache ornaments, wood carvings and furniture) until their visit to Srinagar, which has a fabulous range of beautiful Kashmiri handicrafts and clothing.
