Departure Dates

Regular fortnightly and weekly itineraries commence each Saturday evening in Delhi from Saturday 27 December 2008 through to Sunday
8 March 2009.

Guests making confirmed bookings will receive additional itinerary information, plus a detailed tip sheet (compiled from our own experiences in Kashmir) to ensure a hassle free trip.

Recommended Itinerary - Two Weeks in Kashmir

Day 1 Saturday - International flights
Daytime flight departures from most international departure points.
Early evening or late night arrival at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport and transfer by taxi to Hotel Rani Castle.
Day 2 Sunday - Arrival in Gulmarg
Transfer to Domestic Airport and late morning flight (one hour 20 minutes) to Srinagar.
Met on arrival at Srinagar Airport and transfer to Gulmarg (56 kilometres).
Days 3 to 14 - Snowriding the Himalayas
Day 15 Saturday - Snowriding followed by late afternoon departure from Gulmarg.
Departure for lodgings at houseboats on Dal Lake (minimum 2 nights).
Day 16 Sunday
Guests on Houseboats - full leisure day at Dal Lake and/or Srinagar.
Day 17 Monday
Guests at Houseboats - midday transfer to Srinagar Airport for afternoon flight to Delhi, and connecting overnight flights home.
